Bio:

Dr. Mario Pagliaro is Research Director at Italy’s National Research Council, leading a research group in Palermo. His work spans biochemistry, nanochemistry, solar energy, and green chemistry. In 2021, he was elected to Academia Europaea. He has developed technologies like NiGraf, IntegroPectin, AquaSun and more focused on sustainability.

Dr. Pagliaro has led the development of numerous innovative materials and enabling technologies, including IntegroPectin, CuproGraf, NiGraf, CytroCell, GrafeoPlad, CytroCav, AquaSun, SiliOrange, AnchoisOil, Omeg@Silica, LimoFish, AetnAsh, AnchoisFert, SiliaSun, TitaniaSun, and HyTan. His research emphasizes sustainability and practical application. All publications from his group are openly accessible and self-archived on his academic website.
